The progression...

And finding ways to get people paid...doesn't it always come down to that, whatever the it is?

Rewrite (again)

Against conventional wisdom (i.e., that of people teaching for a long time and looking forward to retirement), I'm changing my professional writing course again next term. It'll focus more on what my students need and on what I think professional literacy requires, an in-depth look at the way that writing works in their individual fields.

I might need to take into account the folks who test into 240. I might also need to take into account some sort of course management software that will allow my students to meet outside the classroom.

More to come.
